What to check first

• Whether content is filtered, and whether you can turn the filter up. Random image commands reach further than their descriptions suggest.
• Channel restrictions, so the joke commands stay out of the announcements channel.
• How heavy the image commands are — the fun ones are usually the slowest, and a bot that takes ten seconds to reply gets spammed while people wait.
• Whether it duplicates something you already have. Most fun bots overlap almost entirely.

The main risk in this category is content you did not choose. A bot pulling images or text from an open source can surface something that gets your server reported, and "the bot posted it" is not a defence that helps afterwards. Look for one that either curates its own content or lets you restrict which commands exist.

The second risk is clutter. Fun commands are used far more than any other kind, and a server that has not confined them to one channel will find its main chat full of dice rolls and meme captions. Nearly every bot here supports a channel allowlist; setting it up on the day you invite the bot is much easier than asking people to stop later.

Because the overlap between these bots is so high, the useful comparison is rarely feature-by-feature. It is: which one is fastest, which one is still being updated, and which one does not ask for permissions far beyond what it needs. A fun bot requesting administrator is asking for more than a joke command requires.
